Porcelain Veneers

If you are not happy with the color, shape, or position of your teeth, you don’t have to worry anymore! With Esthemed, Porcelain Veneers will make you smile with confidence.

A veneer is a thin layer used to cover the tooth surface. Veneers can be used for two reasons: to protect the tooth surface or to improve the aesthetic appearance of the teeth.

Dental veneers, which aim to improve the shape, colour, and general appearance of the teeth, are usually made of porcelain. There are also composite veneers that are cheaper than porcelain veneers, but composite veneers do not guarantee the same quality as porcelain veneers.

Porcelain veneers are more durable, stain resistant, and natural-looking than composite veneers. Porcelain veneers are an excellent option for people with irregular, broken, damaged or stained and discoloured teeth.

What are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers cover and hide the surface of the teeth, correcting the unwanted features of the teeth.

There are two different types of dental veneers: porcelain veneers and composite veneers.

Porcelain veneers are more expensive but more durable and have a more natural appearance, while composite veneers are cheaper but less durable. You may be an excellent candidate for a porcelain veneer if you are uncomfortable with the following:

  • Broken teeth
  • Irregular teeth structure
  • Colorless teeth
  • Gaps between teeth
  • Stained teeth

How Are Dental Veneers Made?

There are 2 stages of the veneer process. The first appointment is given for preparation, the second for assembly. Both appointments take approximately 2 to 3 hours individually.

At your first appointment, your Esthemed dentist will examine your teeth and discuss your expectations from porcelain veneers. You and your dentist can decide on the size, shape and colour of your teeth. Your teeth will be prepared to be ready for the porcelain veneer application, and some of your tooth enamel will be shaved.

Your Esthemed dentist will then take impressions of your teeth using a special dental instrument. This impression will be sent to the dental laboratory to be used as a model to manufacture your veneers.

At your second appointment, your dentist will remove your temporary veneers, if any. Your new veneers will be placed on the surface of your teeth. Before your veneers are bonded to your teeth, you will have time to consider whether you are satisfied with the shape, size and colour of your veneers. The changes and modifications you request will be made by your Esthemed dentist in Turkey. Upon your approval, your Esthemed dentist in Turkey will thoroughly clean your teeth with a special solution. Then your new porcelain veneers will be placed and adhered to your teeth using a special adhesive. Then your new porcelain veneers will be exposed to a special light that will make them adhere strongly to your teeth. Finally, your new teeth will be cleaned and polished.
